Visionworks was created in May, 1999, and NaturalEyeCare™ was created in 2003 to help eye care professionals and the public become aware of the role of complementary care in the treatment of eye disease including macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eyes and diabetic retinopathy.

• We believe that combining the best in traditional and complementary eye care creates the greatest opportunity for individuals to protect and improve vision.
  
  
• We believe that the health of the eye depends on the well-being of the one's entire body. Therefore in healing and preservation of vision we provide lifestyle, diet and nutritional recommendations, as well as nutritional products we suggest based on our analysis of peer review studies, presented by disease.

Marc Grossman is a co-founder of The NaturalEyeCare™ He is both a licensed optometrist and acupuncturist. Marc is an international lecturer on natural eye care, author of four books on vision and natural eye care. He has been a practitioner since 1980. His hobbies include jogging, hiking, traveling, reading and writing.

Mary Goggin is the The NaturalEyeCare™ shipping and inventory manager. She is also our resident artist on staff (pictures of some of her paintings will be coming soon). Her hobbies include art, hiking, cooking, reading and cross country skiing.

Esther Vanderwerf is our general administrative person, handling such tasks as phone follow-up for automatic delivery orders and research. She is also a Natural Vision Educator, helping people see clearly without glasses. Esther's hobbies include hiking, photography, reading and traveling.

Michael Edson is the other co-founder of The NaturalEyeCare™ Michael is a New York State Licensed acupuncturist and co-author of "Natural Eye Care - A Comprehensive Manual for Practitioners of Oriental Medicine". His hobbies include the practice of Qi Gong, traveling, hiking, tennis, golf, movies, reading and chess.
